Yes. My hours are flexible, but it’s best if I get things lined up for the sheet metal guys to fab on some resemblance of a schedule. Soooo, late hours when a whole pile of foldey metal refuse needs to be produced and isn’t ready. It eventually gets sorted out, and we don’t keep the whole fab crew, the turret punches, and the press brake with their thumbs up their butts. Side effect, it reduces me to a drooling zombie for the rest of the week’s adventures in figuring things out for sales and fixing drawing mistakes on things created in a fugue at 10PM.
It’s almost like I’ve been here before...

I might - keyword “might” have gotten to some of this sooner if I hadn’t been trying all day to beat information out of some people to satisfy the needs/urges of some people trying to beat information out of us as a company. On the other hand I might not, as I often struggle to get as much done (concentration) during normal hours regardless of *what* the every-ten-minutes emails actually are.
